Floral garden
The floral sector is a demonstration garden for annual and biennial horticultural plants for beds and jardinieres. Its aim is to exhibit new plants hardly known or unknown in commerce, so that general public and other cities’ green spaces services can discover it. This garden and the one of Jardin des Plantes in Paris are the only ones to be selected each year for the 10 sights composing the "Tour de France" of flowering.

Our goal is to show a maximum of bed plants, for shade or full in the sun. That’s why there are little quantities for each variety with a label showing the family, the genus and the variety. We are also preparing a Cannas and Dahlias collection with a research of the obtentors’ names and the year of obtaining.
Every year, a small floral mosaic is adapted for a different educational theme (for example: "mandala")
